Karl W. SwartzWitchcraft

Such craft with word and spell be wove
that catch a wandering spirit move
into the eye's disclosing stare,
that we may make our mischief there!

And when fair lady chances by
to catch the glint in mischief's eye,
then cast a true revealing spell
to ease her shame and bind her well!

And lest we our own selves betray
to vulgar thought and idle play,
then while she yet be firmly mine—
another place, another time!
