Revelation

The Wit spoke something apropos,
and someone understood:
communication!
We laid a stone,
symbol of impediment
o'ercome.

Eons passed:
the wit forgot,
the stone an edifice....
The stone was not
the final word,
nor the first sacrifice!

Who spoke the wit,
who laid the stone,
who worshipped it,
who cares?
Communication is the form
Divinity prepares!
