Reflections

The shadow of the flame—
the dark side of the light—
may be all that remains
in the soul's long night.

See within your heart
and then you will be free.
It is the first part
of all eternity.

In the sacred fire
where life and death unite,
the pure of heart conspire
to while away the night!
