Fair the form I Thee beheld
and fair would know her name.
But fair the least of all was form
when Thine answer came.

For form is but a pretty net
the mind of man doth weave,
and fair the love of them alone
form doth not deceive.

And I would know Thee fair to form,
and I would know Thy name.
And I would know Thee by Thy Will—
both are but the same!
