Birth
Into the dark hole of Calcutta
I went alone one night,
too afraid for terror,
too alone for fright,
only wanting to see
what lay beyond the scream:
the ultimate mystique,
to know the final dream.
In the dawn of creation
a star began to shine,
casting off the darkness
for the first time.
Free of all illusion,
one reality:
Blessed God Almighty,
I can see!
